Birthday Tutu

Yesterday (August 24th) I celebrated my 27th birthday! I went to the beach (absolutely perfect weather!), went out to eat with my family, had cake and opened presents.   I will say that it was a lovely day but also a hard day because it was my first birthday without my mom.  I miss her more than words can ever say.  I wore her favorite necklace with my birthday outfit to remind me of her.

I am so blessed to have amazing family, friends and coworkers who made my birthday so very special and made me feel loved! And how stinkin' cute are these "27" giant balloons that my family got me? I was so surprised when I saw them - and they are so perfect for the blog (thank you Dayna!!).  Here is to another year <3
