alessandro Sunday Rose Collection + GIVEAWAY!

Happy Easter everyone! By the time you are reading this, it will be Monday! Currently, Nick and I are celebrating Easter at my parent's house which means tons of yummy foods like lasagna, lamb and meat pie and desserts! I made cookie dough brownies from scratch but had to omit brown sugar from the frosting (none left!) so I'm not sure how much like cookie dough they actually taste but they look ridiculously good.

I'm so excited to show you guys a "First Look" at the new alessandro Spring 2015 Collection - Sunday Rose! While pretty standard, these shades are so soft and pretty - exactly what I think of for spring! There are 5 pastels and one glittery gold top coat.

Happy Coral, 2 coats
I could have even done 3 coats on this one for maximum opacity. Gorgeous bright creme coral shade.  Almost neon!

Apricot Touch
A light orange, apricot creme with no shimmer.  Super creamy but needs about 3 coats for full opaque coverage with no spots showing through.

Apricot Touch topped with "Euphoria" Top Coat
"Euphoria" is so fun! It's mostly gold glitter but when you hold it up to the sun, you see there is also rainbow shimmer.  On the nail you just see gold.  There are also medium sized hexagon gold glitters.  I also managed to find some little gold shards every so often!

Tender Rose
Love this shade! I felt so dainty and girly when this was on.  A creme light pink with no shimmer.  Easy application!

Tender Rose topped with Euphoria Top Coat.
I didn't love this combo because you could barely see the pink anymore! The gold glitter really overpowered here as you can see.

Pastel Mint
Of course my favorite (no surprise here) is the minty blue shade.  I could wear this color all the time - I never get sick of it! This is the only color that has tiny micro shimmers in it.  It's barely noticeable in the photos but you can see it up close.

Sunday Blues
I would describe this shade as periwinkle.  A blue/purple creme, such a cute color.  It also reminds me of denim in nail polish form (remember when that was a trend?).  This was also easy to apply and required 2 coats.

Overall, I love the Sunday Rose collection! They were very easy to apply and they put me in the spring mood instantly.  The top coat is very pretty but can overpower so I would recommend just doing one light coat or a glitter gradient on the tips.  I also love the size of the polish and the easy grip cap! It made application so enjoyable! How cute are these colors?!
